    Shahid Kapoor begins shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's period-drama Padmavati.

    These days Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor is seen spending quality time with wife Mira and his newborn daughter Misha. Now, the star is set to return to his business. Today Shahid Kapoor has kick started filming for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's forthcoming period-drama Padmavati . In this film, he plays the role of Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar.

    Shahid Kapoor is seen with a thick beard and moustache for this role and he shared this news update with all on Twitter.

    Deepika Padukone, who portrays the role of Queen Padmavati in this film, filmed for a Rajasthani style dance, ghoomar. Ranveer Singh will be seen essaying the tyrant ruler Alauddin Khilji.
