    Beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan charmed the French President Francois Hollande during her special lunch with him in Delhi on Republic Day. The other stars who were invited for a luncheon with French President are superstar Shah Rukh Khan and the filmmaker Aditya Chopra . They are invited to discuss films here.

    Today, the ambassador of France, Francois Richier will host a private event and Kalki Koechlin , who is having French-origin, is also one of the invitees. The sources of French government stated "The Bollywood celebrities have been invited to have lunch with the President. It is a private event. They will discuss films,"

    In 2007, Shah Rukh Khan has been honoured with the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres award by the French government for his 'exceptional career". SRK received France's highest civilian award in 2014, the Legion of Honour.
