Shah Rukh Khan's Raees Faces Ban In Pakistan!
Shah Rukh Khan starrer gangster drama film Raees faces ban in Pakistan.
Rahul Dholakia’s directorial film Raees starring Shah Rukh Khan, released on January 25, after facing a lot of difficulties and delays. The movie has been successfully entertaining the audience in multiple countries. Raees was supposed to release in Pakistan this week. But, as per the report, the Pakistan’s Censor Board on Monday refused to allow the release of the film in their cinemas.
The director along with the makers are shocked with the news. The reason for the ban as per them is distortion of the true spirit of Islam. This kind of content in the film was objectionable for their territory, report suggested.
The movie also stars Pakistani actress Mahira Khan as the female lead. The film has already released in several Muslim-dominated countries like the UAE, Oman, Bahrain, etc. without any such objection.
