    Shah Rukh Khan's Fan gets UA certificate, receives 7 cuts by censor

    Shah Rukh Khan starrer Fan received 7 cuts and passed with UA certificate by the censor board.

    Till now, no films of superstar Shah Rukh Khan showed loads of violence, but it seems his upcoming attraction Fan is an exception to this. The film contains a scene of prolonged police brutality. Owing to this, SRK starrer Fan gets UA certificate by the censor board and received 7 cuts, reportedly.

    A source revealed "The scene of prolonged violence in lock-up where one Shah Rukh Khan urges the cops to beat up the other Shah Rukh was found to be unnecessarily prolonged. The censor board has asked the sequence to be reduced by 50 percent,"

    The abuses and cuss words got 6 verbal cuts to the film. Now, the younger fans of King Khan can watch this movie when accompanied by an adult.

    Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film Fan hits the screens on April 15.
