    Shabana Azmi's First Look In 'Neerja'!

    The makers of 'Neerja' has revealed Shabana Azmi's first look as she plays the role of Sonam Kapoor's Mother.

    Ram Madhwani 's upcoming biopic ' Neerja ' starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead is currently in the shooting phase. The latest development regarding the film is that the makers have revealed the first look of Shabana Azmi from the film who essays the role of Neerja's mother.

    Azmi is happy to take up this role as she shares a loving relationship with Sonam, to whom she has seen since her childhood and also she is a friend of the director who is making his directorial debut with this film. The biopic is based on the life of flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, who was killed while trying to save the passengers of a hijacked PanAm Flight 73 on September 5, 1986.
