    Secret Superstar to compete with 2.0 and Golmaal Again, this Diwali

    Aamir Khan rescheduled the release date of Secret Superstar from August to Diwali.

    Aamir Khan has decided to shift the release date of his upcoming film Secret Superstar . It will be now hitting the theatres in Diwali, by providing Rajnikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0 and Ajay Devgn’s Golmaal Again a tough competition.

    Secret Superstar release was earlier scheduled on August 4, 2017. And with two big films – SRK’s untitled and Akshay Kumar’s Toilet - Ek Prem Katha lined up on August 11, it won’t have got much time at the screens. Therefore, the release date has been pushed to this year's Diwali.

    Festive period, usually has an arrangement for two or more releases. Therefore, it was Aamir’s call to go for Diwali release. As per the sources, he has also discussed about this with Rajnikant and spoken a length about Secret Superstar and 2.0 clash. The south superstar has given his nod with blessings to Aamir’s venture.

    Secret Superstar features Aamir’s Dangal girl Zaira Wasim , who has recently won National Award for Best Supporting Actress.
