3 July, 1998 was the day, which saw the crime-thriller ' Satya ' ruling on big screens. ' Satya ' by Ram Gopal Varma turned out to be a grand hit at the box office as well as it attained a lot of critical acclaim. It was inevitable to the sequel of this film to be happened. And on the occasion of celebrating the 15th anniversary of ' Satya ', the filmmakers have come up with the first look of the next installment of the film, ' Satya 2 ' on the same day.

A spokesperson of RGV said that ' Satya ' is one of the masterpieces designed in Bollywood and RGV incurred much praises for this. Releasing the first look of the sequel of this flick on the 15th anniversary of the predecessor, would be perfect for cheering up for the success of the film, the spokesperson added.

Rather than planning an event for the launch of first look of the sequel, only the prospective media and publications will get a bite of the first look of the sequel, said spokesperson. The spokesperson also showed optimism about the sequel creating more buzz.
