Although Anand L Rai is busy with his upcoming untitled dwarf film starring Shah Rukh Khan , his forthcoming film ‘ Manmarziyan ’ was announced way back in 2016. For a long time now, a lot of speculations have been regarding the female lead in the film opposite Ayushmann Khurrana . Initially, Bhumi Pednekar was taken on board for the role but due to date issues, the actress left the project. The makers then shifted their focus towards the ‘Dangal’ fame, Sanya Malhotra , who had proved her acting skills in her debut movie. However, when contacted the reliable sources, they revealed that Sanya has been dropped from the film as the makers are considering a more established actress for the role.

If the sources are to be believed then, the makers have now been considering Taapsee Pannu for the role, as the actress had a good share of successful films in both content-driven and commercial cinema. Taapsee has proved her worth in some of the biggest and finest movies in the recent past and the makers are quite confident that she can do full justice to their film.

Though no word is yet out by the actress or from Anand’s team, we can just wait for the final confirmation.
