One of the biggest filmmakers of our times, Sanjay Leela Bhansali has given us many memorable films such as Khamoshi: The Musical , Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam , Devdas , Guzaarish , Goliyon Ki Rasleela: Ramleela , Bajirao Mastani and the most recent one, Padmaavat . Of all the films that he has directed so far, Khamoshi: The Musical and Saawariya are the only two films which failed to meet the audiences' expectations at the box office. Recently, during an interaction with media, the acclaimed filmmaker expressed how he would love to remake these two unsuccessful films of his moviemaking career.

“‘Khamoshi: The Musical and’ Saawariya’ are two of my most favourite films. The fact that they didn’t get wide commercial success could have a bearing on my partiality towards them. I’d love to re-make them and correct the mistakes. What mistakes? That shall remain with me until I do these films again,” he said.

Talking about his next venture, Bhansali is rumoured to be joining hands with superstar Shah Rukh Khan for an untitled love story with a period setting.

An official announcement is awaited though.
