Sanjay Leela Bhansali directed magnum opus, Padmavati , is yet to arrive in theatres, but the acclaimed filmmaker has already planned his next venture. Buzz has it that the director might team up with two of his favourite actors, Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan , for his forthcoming film. Shah Rukh Khan has worked with the award-winning director on Devdas while Deepika has been part of three of his films namely Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and the upcoming Padmavati.

A leading magazine reports that Bhansali might start work on his next film right after the release of his delayed costume drama, Padmavati , in the first quarter of 2018. It also reports that Shah Rukh Khan has already given his nod to star in the movie, while Padukone has been informed about the project.

If Deepika agrees to do the film, it will be her fourth movie with superstar Shah Rukh Khan . She started her career opposite him with Farah Khan ’s Om Shanti Om and went on to appear alongside him in films like Chennai Express and Happy New Year .
