    Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavati finally starts rolling!

    Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s magnum opus Padmavati has been one of the most talked about films in recent times. The latest update regarding the film is that Bhansali’s ambitious project started rolling today in Mumbai. The lead stars were spotted outside Mehboob Studios and shot for their parts, as per the sources.

    Ranveer Singh will essay the character of Alauddin Khilji, while Shahid Kapoor will play Raja Rawal Ratan Singh of Mewar and Deepika Padukone will perform the role of and Rani Padmini of Chittorgarh in this historical drama. As per the reports, Aditi Rao Hyderi has joined the cast, as she plays Khilji's favourite wife in the movie.

    Padmavati has been scheduled to release on 17 November, 2017.
