The trend of 'qawwali' seems to be back in Bollywood, with many of them topping the chartbusters list. Several 'qawwali' songs sounded soothing to the ears and mesmerized the music-lovers. Some of them include "Piya Haji Ali" from film ' Fiza ', "Khwaja Mere Khwaja" from ' Jodha Akbar ' and many more. And as per the latest news update, one more tuneful 'qawwali' is on its way in the forthcoming Apoorva Lakhia 's directorial ' Zanjeer '.

Guess who will be featuring in this 'qawwali'? It's none other than our Sanjay Dutt . As a child, Sanjay Dutt featured in a 'qawwali' track from the yesteryear's film ' Reshma Aur Shera ' in the year 1972. This movie starred Sanjay's father late Sunil Dutt , Amitabh Bachchan , Waheeda Rehman , Vinod Khanna and Rakhee . Sanjay Dutt will be seen singing a 'qawwali' after 41 years in ' Zanjeer ', with more than 150 films to his account. The lyrics of this 'qawwali' goes like "Khochey Pathan Ki Zubaan". Sanjay Dutt will be enacting the role of "Sher Khan" in ' Zanjeer ' remake, which was portrayed by the late veteran actor Pran in the original one in 1973.

' Zanjeer ' features Ram Charan Teja , Priyanka Chopra , Mahi Gill , Prakash Raj and Atul Kulkarni . The film will release on September 6.
