Model cum anchor cum actor Samir Kochhar has been roped in the sequel of ' Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai ' to play the role of a cop. In the original film this role was played by actor Randeep Hooda .

' Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai ', produced by Balaji Telefilms Ltd and directed by Milan Luthria had hit the theatres on July 30, 2010. It was a hit at the box office and had also received positive reviews from the film-critics.

The Sequel To ' Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai ', which has been titled as ' Once Upon Ay Time In Mumbai Dobaara! ' has Akshay Kumar , Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. It has already gone on floors.

Samir Kochhar , who made his Hindi cinema debut with Mohit Suri 's film ' Zeher ' in 2005, has confirmed the news of being a part of the sequel. He has also said that he is ready to play the role of a tough cop and is also ready for any comparisons with Randeep Hooda .

Samir Kochhar has also been signed up for one more Ekta Kapoor 's television serial.
