The 1997 blockbuster Judwaa is soon arriving in its new form in upcoming sequel Judwaa 2 starring Varun Dhawan in double role. The original Judwaa saw Salman Khan playing the double role Prem and Raja and once again, the superstar will be seen doing the same in upcoming laughter ride Judwaa 2 .

“Salman will appear in Judwaa 2 as Raja and Prem, the characters he played in the original Judwaa in 1997, two decades later. Salman will be sharing screen space with Varun’s two characters. The sequence is being designed as a highlight in the film.” said a close source to the development.

Judwaa 2 also features Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu in lead role. Talking about Varun’s double role in this flick, the source revealed, “In one of his avatars, opposite Taapsee, Varun will portray a college student. These portions will be filmed in London. His tapori twin will be seen romancing Jacqueline Fernandez and their scenes will be shot in Mumbai.”

Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by David Dhawan, the film Judwaa 2 is expected to start rolling in this February.
