Salman Khan talks about ticket pricing of Sultan; compares to Marathi Films!

Bollywood actor Salman Khan is constantly in news for to his upcoming film Sultan, which is releasing this Eid. Sultan features Salman and Anushka Sharma in the roles of professional wrestlers in the film. In a recent media interaction, Salman expressed his concern over the ticket pricing of films in Bollywood and, wishes to check Sultan’s ticket costing.

Salman stated that, “If we don’t check our ticket pricing right now, our cinema is going to dip down very badly.”

The superstar further added, “The numbers (of productions) are increasing, but footfalls are reducing. At Rs 80 and Rs 100 for a ticket, Marathi films are doing Rs 100 crore businesses and with our ticket prices of Rs 250, we are barely able to touch Rs 100 crore. It’s shameful.”
