    Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor laud 'Huts To High Street' concept by promoting khadi

    Salman Khan, Sonam Kapoor promoted khadi by doing ramp walk as a part of 'Huts to High Street' initiative.

    ' Prem Ratan Dhan Payo 's lead pair Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor walked the ramp at the IIM campus for promoting khadi as a part of the 'Huts to High Street' initiative by Fashion Design Council of India. At Louis Kahn Plaza of IIM, a non-profit organization Fashion Design Council of India presented the second edition of its special initiative to showcase the capabilities of the humble fabric. The event was in association with the Gujarat State Khadi & Village Industries Board.

    Salman Khan 's first appearance of this event was in khadi pajama kurta with matching bandi. It was paired up with the accessories like a pocket square with a suave look. Sonam Kapoor made the heads turn with her stunning one-piece with a beautiful long jacket. The outfits of both the stars were designed by the noted designer Rohit Bal .

    The glitzy event was graced by the prominent industrialists, senior bureaucrats, textile aficionados, film industry members,students and faculty from Gujarat design and business management institutes.
