Salman Khan shrinks \'Jai Ho\' promotional budget for charity
Salman Khan requested the presenter of 'Jai Ho' to reduce the promotional budget of the film from Rs 16 crore to Rs 6 crore, as the rest of the money will go to charity.
It seems Salman Khan actually believes in \'Being Human\', as the actor has minimized the promotional budget of his upcoming attraction \'Jai Ho\' for the charity purpose, reportedly.
Salman does not think blitzkrieg promotions of the film pave the way for box office success. The star had a word with Eros International, who are the presenter of \'Jai Ho\', and Salman suggested them to cut short the promotional budget, as per the reports. The actual promotional budget was Rs 16 crore, but Salman wanted it till Rs 6 crore and not more than that. He even interacted with Sunil Lulla, the head of Eros International pertaining to this. The rest of the money should go to the needy people, that\'s what Salman thinks about it.
Apart from this, Salman Khan plans to keep the movie ticket rates for \'Jai Ho\' as normal as he believes, \"Numbers are important, but don\'t take the film out of the common man\'s reach,\"
