Salman Khan's paintings turn haveli into a boutique hotel

Sooraj Barjatya's upcoming ambitious project 'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' is shot mainly in rajmahals and havelis. The ornate sets were erected in the studio but director Sooraj and lead actor Salman Khan waved the green signal for shooting in real locations. A haveli near Rajkot, Gujarat, in Gondal was picked up for shooting some portions.

During the shoot, Salman preferred to stay in haveli while the production team stayed at the hotel. Salman painted his room with some of his striking artworks that were praised by everyone. It is being said that the owners planned to retain the frescos of Salman in the room. The buzz revealed that the haveli will soon take the shape of a boutique hotel and the star status of this heritage property has made it an attraction.
