YRF's flick ' Ek Tha Tiger ' starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles has broken all the records set by the previous films of Salman Khan . It has already become a major hit at the box office.

' Ek Tha Tiger ' is all set to set a new record in Delhi/UP as it is heading for INR 40 crore nett business at these places. It has already become the first film to cross the 20 crore mark just after 3 weeks of its release.

Prior to ' Ek Tha Tiger ', 3 flicks that have set major benchmarks in Delhi/UP over the last 20 years or so include ' Hum Aapke Hai Kaun ', ' Gadar ' and ' 3 Idiots '.

Salman Khan - Madhuri Dixit starrer ' Hum Aapke Hai Kaun ' was the first flick to hit 10 crore nett in 1994 whereas Sunny Deol - Amisha Patel starrer ' Gadar ' became the first movie to hit 20 crore in 2001. And Aamir Khan - Sharman Joshi - R. Madhavan - Kareena Kapoor starrer ' 3 Idiots ' was the first movie to go over 30 crore nett in 2009.

Let's hope that the magical 50 crore mark is also achieved in the near future!
