A couple of weeks ago reports were doing the rounds that filmmaker Vipul Shah , who has previously directed some memorable films like Aankhen, Waqt and Namastey London, is making a comeback to direction after he last directed the Akshay Kumar and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan starrer Action Replayy in 2010. Reportedly, the filmmaker was in talks with Saif Ali Khan for the male lead. However, it seems the things did not fall into the place as Chote Nawab is no longer a part of the project.

While the reasons behind the actor opting out of the film are still unknown, Vipul has confirmed the news saying, “Yes, I will be directing another film soon. It is a film about human drug-testing. But Saif Ali Khan is not in it.” With Saif opting out of the project, it will be interesting to see who finally gets into his shoes for the untitled film. We wonder if Vipul will consider roping in Akshay as both have previously worked together on a number of successful films, including Waqt and Namastey London.
