    Saif Ali Khan to play Cancer patient in Kaalagandi

    Saif Ali Khan experiments with dark comedy genre, playing a cancer patient in Akshat Verma's Kaalagandi.

    Gone are the days when Hindi cinema revolved around the stereotypical love tales. It has now opened the wings to experiment with new genres. Setting one such example, Saif Ali Khan will be next seen in a dark comedy genre film Kaalagandi , directed by  Akshat Verma .

    Saif Ali Khan to play Cancer patient in Kaalagandi

    Saif will play a banker’s role. Someone who is not addicted to smoking and liquor, yet he gets diagnosed by Cancer. After initial denial, he decides to live his remaining life to the fullest.

    As per the sources, Saif’s story will feature parallel to other two stories. One will be based on the odd couple played by Kunal Roy Kapoor and Shobita Dhulipala, while other will screen aspiring gangsters Deepak Dobriyal and Vijay Raaz.
