    'Rowdy Rathore' Sets Record on Box Office

    Akshay Kumar’s film ‘Rowdy Rathore’ opened hugely on its 1st day. It earned INR 15 crores all over India on its first day.

    A Akshay Kumar 's film Rowdy Rathore opened hugely on its 1st day. It earned INR 15 crores all over India on its first day. It should be noted that previous day was Bharat Bandh so advance bookings were hugely affected which also affected its business.

    Yet this film sets a record for a non-holiday release.

    This film stars Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha . It has been directed by Prabhu Deva and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali .

    It is reported that some single screens did very well with 100% occupancy. Multiplexes observed nearly 70% occupancy, may be due to strike a day before.

    This film is being considered as the biggest opener of A Akshay Kumar films.
