    Rohit Shetty to reunite with Abhishek Bachchan?

    The last project both worked together was Bol Bachchan, which was a box office success.

    Abhishek Bachchan starred in filmmaker Rohit Shetty 's directorial debut Zameen , which hit the silver screen in 2003. After that, the two teamed up for the multi-starrer Bol Bachchan in 2012, which turned out to be a great money spinner at the box office. Though we have not seen the duo collaborating again after Bol Bachchan , the two share a close bond. And if latest reports are to be believed, Rohit is planning to cast Abhishek Bachchan in his next directorial Simmba .

    According to sources, Shetty wants Bachchan to play the negative role in the film which stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. It is a powerful parallel role. An official announcement is awaited though.

    Simmba, a remake of the Telugu film, Temper, is co-produced by Karan Johar and Rohit.
