Rohit Shetty to reunite with Abhishek Bachchan?

Abhishek Bachchan starred in filmmaker Rohit Shetty's directorial debut Zameen, which hit the silver screen in 2003. After that, the two teamed up for the multi-starrer Bol Bachchan in 2012, which turned out to be a great money spinner at the box office. Though we have not seen the duo collaborating again after Bol Bachchan, the two share a close bond. And if latest reports are to be believed, Rohit is planning to cast Abhishek Bachchan in his next directorial Simmba.

According to sources, Shetty wants Bachchan to play the negative role in the film which stars Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan in lead roles. It is a powerful parallel role. An official announcement is awaited though.

Simmba, a remake of the Telugu film, Temper, is co-produced by Karan Johar and Rohit.
