Riteish Deshmukh has done several comedy films till date some of which have been quite successful at the box office. The actor is known for his flawless comic timing. Therefore, he has been roped in for ' Filmy Picture ', an upcoming film produced by D. Suresh Babu .

' Filmy Picture ' is a spoof based on many classic Bollywood films. Thus, Riteish Deshmukh will spoof the Bollywood blockbusters in the film. The film is a remake of the Telugu Film 'Sudigadu', which was super hit. Interestingly, 'Sudigadu' was also remade in the Tamil language titled as 'Thamizh Padam' and had become a blockbuster. The spoofs in these movies were on the respective film industries.

Recently, there has been a trend in the Hindi film industry to make remakes of the South blockbusters. ' Rowdy Rathore ' is the recent example that was a major hit.

The rest of the cast for ' Filmy Picture ' is yet to be finalized after which it will go on the floors. Only time will say whether this remake will also become a hit in the Hindi language or not!
