Richa Chadha is gearing up for the release of her upcoming comic-caper Fukrey Returns , which is slated to release on 8th December. After Fukrey Returns , the talented actress will be seen in the contemporary adaptation of Saratchandra Chattopadhyay's classic novel Devdas. Titled Daasdev, the film is being helmed by acclaimed filmmaker Sudhir Mishra . Following a path contrary to the plot of the classic novel, the film will be fiercely political in tone. Richa will essay the character of Paro in the film, while Aditi Rao Hydari features as Chandramukhi and Rahul Bhatt as Daasdev.

Richa has proved her acting prowess with a variety of roles. When asked Richa about the same she said, "I am excited that the film is releasing soon. It's an interesting adaptation. I loved working with Sudhir Mishra . He has mentored so many filmmakers and directed some films that made me want to be an actor when I was growing up."

Besides Fukrey Returns , Daasdev, Richa also has LOVE Sonia in her hand.
