    Release date of Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha unveiled

    The release date of Sonakshi Sinha's much talked about action film has been unveiled by the makers.

    Bollywood diva Sonakshi Sinha ’s upcoming film Akira has made news for all the right reasons. The makers have unveiled the release date of the film. This A. R. Murugadoss’s woman centric action drama is all set to hit the silver screens on September 23, 2016.

    Release date of Akira starring Sonakshi Sinha unveiled

    Sonakshi plays the lead role in the film and her character in the movie is named Akira. The character is of a misunderstood and intense girl who fight backs and beats up all the bad guys. The film has been shot in Mumbai and Rajasthan. This is the first time when Sonakshi will perform so many action scenes. She has undergone rigorous training for her role.

    Akira is produced by Fox Star Studios and is the Hindi remake of the Tamil film Mounaguru.
