The veteran actor Raza Murad plays the role of Jalaluddin Khilji, formidable old monarch in the film and quite frequently cast in Sanjay Leela Bhansali ’s films. He recently took to social media to unveil his look from the film. But then, but as per embargo guidelines, he was asked to take it down as he wasn't supposed to share it, just yet! Murad has previously worked with Bhansali in Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela playing character of Sarpanch as well as in the film Bajirao Mastani playing character of Qamar ud-Din Khan. About the film Padmavati , it is a story based on the queen of Chittor, Rani Padmavati, her husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh and Alauddin Khilji, played by Deepika Padukone , Shahid Kapoor , and Ranveer Singh respectively! The film is slated to be release on 1st Dec!
