    Ranveer Singh to sport shoulder length wig in Padmavati

    Ranveer Singh will be wearing a shoulder length wig for his role of Alauddin Khilji in upcoming period-drama Padmavati.

    Sanjay Leela Bhansali's forthcoming much-talked about film Padmavati is in the news for all the right reasons and the project seems to be an aristocratic one like his other outings. Mehboob Studio in Mumbai has the set of Rani Padmavati's Water Palace from the Chittorgarh Fort erected in it. The period-drama Padmavati stars Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in the lead.

    The latest news update revealed that Ranveer Singh will be seen wearing a shoulder length wig for the role of Alauddin Khilji in the film Padmavati . The actor will sport a bare-chested avatar with a black shawl that will cover his torso. A source said "There have been innumerable costume trials and script reading sessions with his actors. Ranveer had a long sequence heavy on dialogue which was shot inside a tent which has been erected in the studio ground."

    Ranveer is working very hard to get under the skin of his character for this film. The team will be shooting in Filmcity for some period. Produced by Viacom 18 Motion Pictures, the film Padmavati releases on November 17, 2017.
