Ranveer Singh to shoot a special introductory video for his film ‘Simmba’!

The ever-energetic Ranveer Singh is riding high on the success of his latest film ‘Padmaavat’. Though he portrayed a grey role, he outperformed every other actor in the film and stole all the limelight. After doing some back to back drama and period films, the 32-year-old actor will now be seen in an out and out masala movie, titled, ‘Simmba’, which will be directed by Rohit Shetty. The film is yet to go on floors but before that, Ranveer will shoot a special video to introduce his character. As reported by a leading tabloid, the actor will shoot a special video to introduce his character in which he will be surrounded by dholwallas from Nashik. In the film, the actor will be playing the role of a cop called Sangram Bhalerao.

A source said, "He will make a stylish entry to the hoot of ‘Aala re aala Simmba aala.’ The idea to introduce Ranveer in his new avatar stems from the fact that it’s been a while since he has been seen in an action-packed masala movie."

Talking about his other projects, the actor is currently busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar’s ‘Gully Boy’ opposite Alia Bhatt, then he will start this film and after that, he has Kabir Khan’s ‘83’, which is based on India’s Cricket World Cup victory of 1983.
