    Ranveer Singh to receive Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar Award

    Ranveer Singh will receive the prestigious Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar award on April 24.

    Bollywood livewire Ranveer Singh gained loads of praises for his stellar performance in the film Bajirao Mastani. The movie proved a super hit at the box office by raking in huge moolah. The latest news update revealed that Ranveer Singh is going to receive the prestigious Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar Award.

    The Mangeshkar clan honour the artistes to commemorate the death anniversary of Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar on April 24. This award is presented to eminent personas of Marathi, Hindi film, theatre and music field. It comes in the form of one lakh rupees, a momento and a citation.

    The news update was confirmed by Lata Mangeshkar who stated "Ranveer is a very good actor and seems to be a very positive human being. He spreads happiness wherever he goes. We are happy to give this annual award, named after our father, to Ranveer,"

    This award will presented to Ranveer Singh at a function in Pune.
