    Ranveer Singh to play a Sardaar in Yash Raj Films' next venture?

    Singh has been receiving oodles of praises for his Khilji avatar in his recently released film, Padmaavat.

    According to some media reports, actor Ranveer Singh has bagged Yash Raj Films ' next movie, tentatively titled Faujia. The actor, who has never played a Sardaar before, will get an opportunity to play the role in the upcoming film. Ranveer's last movie with Yash Raj Films ' was Befikre . Directed by Aditya Chopra , the film witnessed a lukewarm response at the cash counters.

    Though no other information is out about Ranveer's new project with the leading production house, some sources reveal that it is expected to start rolling in early 2019. The makers are planning to release the film the same year. Important details like who will helm the film and its leading lady are yet to be known.

    Meanwhile, Ranveer is currently shooting for Zoya Akhtar 's Gully Boy . After wrapping up this film, he will move on to Rohit Shetty 's Simmba , followed up by the Kabir Khan directorial, 83 .
