    We earlier reported that actress Vidya Balan has been approached for the official remake of Sadma. But, Vidya could not take up the project due to date issues. Now the latest update regarding the film is that, actors Ranveer Singh and Kareena Kapoor have been roped in to feature in the remake of the Sridevi and Kamal Haasan starrer.

    The film is said to be produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor. Nothing has been officially announced yet. Let us wait for the confirmation from the makers regarding this buzz. Sadma (1983) featured actress Sridevi as a woman who behaves as a child after suffering from amnesia.
