Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt to star together in Zoya Akhtar's next

We recently reported about Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt sharing the small screen together for an ad campaign of a travel portal. And, some people wished that both the stars should also share the big screen together. It seems their wish has come true as the filmmaker Zoya Akhtar has roped in Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh for her next project, reportedly.

Zoya and Ranveer are great friends as they collaborated during the film Dil Dhadakne Do. Ranveer was once spotted at Zoya's house for a dinner. Prior to this, Ranbir Kapoor was speculated to play this role but it's now grabbed by Ranveer. Alia is presently basking in the success of her latest release Kapoor & Sons. Ranveer Singh is also filming for the film Befikre by Aditya Chopra.
