Yash Raj Film will soon be coming with the boldest movie of theirs till date. And guess who will be playing a bold role in the film? It's the dusky beauty of Bollywood Rani Mukherjee . The movie is titled as ' Mardaani ' and the actress is playing a tough police officer in the film. It is basically a women-centered flick directed by Pradeep Sarkar.

Pradeep Sarkar tells ' Mardaani ' is a rowdy and gritty movie, which is something very new for himself and Rani Mukherjee .

Before this, Sarkar had directed two YRF films - 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag' starring Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukherjee and Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Lafangey Parindey'.

Performing bold scenes are not a new thing for Rani Mukherjee . Earlier, she was seen in similar roles in ' Black ' (2005) and ' No One Killed Jessica ' (2011). ' Dil Bole Hadippa! ' was the last movie of Rani with Yash Raj.

' Mardaani ' would be 11th movie of Rani with Yash Raj. This project is by Rani's real life love-interest Aditya Chopra . Hope, the Bengali beauty will again rule the silver screen by appearing as a strong cop.

The film will give a knock on box-office tentatively by the end of this year.
