Rani Mukherjee meets real life Mardaani

Rani Mukherjee recently gave her hard hitting performance in crime thriller film 'Mardaani'. She inspired millions of women with her fearless act, but have you ever thought from where did she herself got the inspiration? Well, it's from a real-life Mardaani IPS officer Meeran Borwankar, whom she went to meet on September 3.

Rani's crime branch officer role in 'Mardaani' is said to be inspired by Meeran, who is the current Police commissioner of Pune and holds the record of being an investigation officer in Mumbai 26/11 case. Both these Mardaanis were spotted having quality time in Pune's crime branch office where they discussed various issue about crime against women.

Well, when such powerful ladies are there to inspire then each lady is a Mardaani!
