    The playboy of the Bollywood, Ranbir Kapoor will be seen playing a role of Roy, a thief by profession in Vicky Singh 's first directorial venture. Vicky Singh is Ranbir's old school friend. Looks like Ranbir is very fond of his buddies. Firstly he did Ayan Mukherjee 's ' Wake Up Sid ' and now he is doing Ayan's second film ' Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani '. Ayan Mukherjee is Ranbir's good friend too.

    Confirming this news, the film's producer Bhushan Kumar said that, " We are very happy to have Ranbir's green signal for our movie Roy. He will be seen playing a key role of Roy in this movie." Ranbir will start shooting for this movie after finishing the shoot of his next film ' Besharam '. The director of this film Vicky Singh has quit his banking job in the US for doing film making in India. He has assisted veteran director Farhan Akhtar in ' Lakshya ' and now he is all set to direct his first movie ' Roy '.

    The movie has a star cast as Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez and another female lead whose name is yet to finalize.
