    Ranbir Kapoor to play superhero in Ayan Mukherjee's next

    Ranbir Kapoor will be playing a superhero character in Ayan Mukherjee's next film, which has got the mythological backdrop.

    It's been long, since superheroes have struck the lanes of B-Town. And now, the wait is over. No, we are not announcing any of the sequels of ' Krrish ' and ' Ra.One ' franchise. But an all-new superhero Ranbir Kapoor is heading with Ayan Mukherjee 's next untitled film, based on mythological backdrop.

    In a recent media interaction, Ranbir agreed to be the part of Ayan's upcoming film, where he will be possessing some superpowers, but his character is far more different than those of Spiderman and Superman.

    Currently, Ayan is working on the script of his next ambitious project. While Ranbir is busy wrapping the multiple ongoing shoots of Anurag Basu 's ' Bombay Velvet ', Vikramjit Singh 's ' Roy ', Imtiaz Ali 's ' Tamasha ' and Kishore Kumar's Biopic .
