    Ranbir Kapoor to essay Hockey champ Dhyan Chand?

    Ranbir Kapoor is being considered to play the lead role in the forthcoming biopic of hockey champion Dhyan Chand.

    One more biopic will be knocking the doors of Bollywood soon. This will be based on the life of hockey star Dhyan Chand. The grapevine tweeted that the handsome hunk Ranbir Kapoor will play the role of Dhyan Chand in this biopic.

    The film will be produced by Pooja Shetty , while the script is being penned down by Ila Bedi Datta . Prior to this, Ila wrote ' Agneepath '. If the reports are to be believed, Shah Rukh Khan was the first choice of the makers. Ila's brother Rajat Bedi stated that Ila will be finishing the script soon and the flick will hit the floors shortly. He also added that Ranbir is being considered to play the lead role.

    It seems hockey is seeing golden days in India, as ' Chak De India ', the flick based on hockey garnered immense success and now, this will be the second film spinning around the game of hockey.
