Ranbir Kapoor's new avatar in 'Bombay Velvet'

Leaving behind his sweet and cute onscreen lover boy image, the heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is all set to don a rough and tough look for his next \'Bombay Velvet\' by Anurag Kashyap. Ranbir will be reportedly going under a drastic physical transformation for this flick.

The gossip aunty said that the Kapoor lad will be essaying an intense role in this movie and this role wants Ranbir in rugged and sturdy look. The first schedule of the film is already over and January 2014 will see the beginning of the second schedule of the film. Till then, Ranbir is leaving no stone unturned to look perfect for his slated role and this brand new look of Kapoor scion will certainly be loved by one and all. Ashwinder Singh, the trainer of the actor said that they are working out twice a day with a blend of strength and conditioning. Also, the martial arts training and kick-boxing are embedded in this work out, said Singh. The trainer also revealed that in order to put on lean mass on the actor, his diet plan has been changed and he has been pushed beyond his limits.

\'Bombay Velvet\' will feature Anushka Sharma as the female lead and the other attraction of the film is that the ace filmmaker Karan Johar will be starring an antagonist in this movie.
