Ranbir Kapoor Pleads Guilty To Smoking Charges Levied On Him

The actor Ranbir Kapoor, yesterday pleaded guilty to the charges that were levied on him on March 28 this year. He had been accused of publicly smoking during the shoot of his film \'Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani\' at Ghangaur Ghat in Udaipur, Rajasthan.

Though the actor did not present himself in the court, he was represented by his lawyer K.K.Purohit, who pleaded guilty to the charges levied on his client. Ranbir also sought exemption from personal appearance in the case.

Advocate K.K. Purohit pleaded in the court that the offence was mistakenly committed by his client and assured the court that this kind of thing will not be repeated again.
