It is seen that masses have a tendency to follow a superhero persona, whenever they see one on silver-screen. And, the current box office sensation Baahubali was bound to cast vast effect on the masses. Recently Health and Nutrition, a men’s health magazine, featured Baahubali superstar Rana Daggubati ’s picture on their cover and tagged him as “India’s Most Sensational Fitness Icon.” He was one of the most deserving people and no one could deny.

It wasn’t easy to prepare for the iconic role such as Bhallala Deva and the tedious part. And it wasn’t only the training, sword fighting and heavy iron pumping were tiring, most of the frustration used to cause by the massive diet he had to follow. Eating breakfast of 40 half boiled egg whites blended with protein powder, while the rice was completely eliminated from his diet. And to top that Rana had eaten just 6-8 small meals in a day, maintaining a gap of a couple of hours.

Despite, how we see him in Baahubali, in the role of Bhallala Deva, otherwise Rana has a lean body and to play such heavy on the bases character, he also has to put on so much muscle. He had to go through rigorous gym training, active exercises, and critical diet and so on. With such level of pain, he has been through, such title and recognition were bound to come his way.

Although Rana must have felt a sigh of relief when he no longer had to prepare for the role and all the efforts he took were paid off.
