Sridevi is coming back on silver screen after a long time (After a gap of nearly 15 years). Her film titled as ' English Vinglish 'is going to release soon which has been directed by Gauri Shinde (wife of R. Balki ). Sridevi plays a middle-class Indian woman who struggles with the English language in the US. Its trailers were released a few weeks ago.

After watching the trailer Ram Gopal Varma could not prevent himself from praising her. He was very much impressed by her performance and tweeted, "Watched English Vinglish trailer. After 15 year hiatus, Sridevi is looking 15 times more beautiful and seems to have become 15 times better actress."

Sources reveal that Ramu is also a great fan of her and has often expressed his wish to make films with her.

In this film Amitabh Bachchan also plays a guest role whereas Sridevi plays the central role of a housewife, who takes admission in an English speaking course (class) so that she could please her husband and family.
