Rajkummar Rao is riding high on the success of his impressive movies this year. From romance to comedy to some serious niche films, the actor has done all in a single year. Rajkummar, who last collaborated with Dinesh Vijan ’s debut directorial ‘ Raabta ’, is all set to play a leading man in his forthcoming production. The film will be directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK . It is said to be a horror comedy. Although Rajkummar wasn’t the lead in ‘ Raabta ’, he surely impressed all with his role of 324-year-old Muraaki ruler Muwaqqit in the film.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK have collaborated with Dinesh Vijan in the past for films like ‘ Happy Ending ’ and ‘ Go Goa Gone ’. The yet to be titled film is in pre-production stage and it will reportedly go on floors from early next year.

Rajkummar is currently busy promoting his web series ‘Bose: Dead/Alive’. The actor will be next seen in Atul Manjrekar ’s ‘ Fanney Khan ’ alongside Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan . Dinesh has produced some brilliant films in the past like ‘ Cocktail ’, ‘ Badlapur ’, and ‘ Hindi Medium ’. Though he failed at direction, we hope he surely has something brilliant this time around for the talented actor.
