The news of Ranganathan Madhavan aka R Madhavan cast in a Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra 's production venture Fanney Khan , along with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan sent a wave of excitement in his fans. Considering the fact the film will be an official remake of Oscar nominated Dutch film Everybody’s Famous, which is a quirky comedy and will be directed by Atul Manjrekar, even general Bollywood Buffs were excited. And the news of R Madhavan was replaced by Rajkummar Rao !

It would have been R Madhavan ’s second film with Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra , so be it not under his direction. As per reports from HindustanTimes , Madhavan gave clarification saying, “I loved the script and was really keen to be part of an interesting ensemble like Fanney Khan, unfortunately, I couldn’t commit to the project due to date issues. I wish the team of all the luck” Whereas, as per co-producer Prernaa Arora thinks, “I think Madhavan is one of the finest actors we have today. I look forward to working with him in the future.”

Though both actor and producers clarified their stand, rumors say otherwise! As per a news report by Mid-Day , the actor apparently asked for un-feasible signing amount that producers decide to go with Rajkummar Rao . And now Rajkummar Rao will be paired against Aishwarya Rai Bachchan , the most beautiful women in the world and talent house for action, this must be Career Goal achieved for Rajkummar Rao for sure!
