John Abraham, who is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Parmanu: The Story of Pokhran with Diana Penty, was supposed to star in Kriarj Entertainment's next film, tentatively titled Chor Nikal Ke Bhaaga. The film was being co-produced by filmmaker Raj Kumar Gupta, who has previously helmed critically and commercially successful films like Aamir (2008) and No One Killed Jessica. However, the latest news related to the project is that John has reportedly opted out of the film, due to creative differences with Mr. Gupta.
Rajkummar Rao and John AbrahamNow, reports suggest that the makers have signed talented actor Rajkummar Rao to replace John in the film. A source close to the development reveals to a daily, "The film was to go on the floors next month, but it has now been pushed to the end of the year. Actor Rajkummar Rao has been roped in instead.”
If the news coming in is true, then it seems that the makers will have to wait long before mounting the film on floors because Rajkummar is currently sporting the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose look for a web-series to be directed by Hansal Mehta and produced by Ekta Kapoor.
