Director Ajay K Pannalal’s forthcoming film Behen Hogi Teri is once again in the limelight. The movie that stars Rajkummar Rao and Shruti Haasan in the lead has garnered buzz online with its quirky poster and song releases. The songs and the promotional stints have been widely appreciated. The latest update claims that the makers have pushed the release date ahead by one week. The film was supposed to release on June 2 will now release on June 9, 2017.

Having done this, the makers have successfully avoided the clash with two Hollywood biggies Wonder Woman and Priyanka Chopra’s Baywatch. Behen Hogi Teri is touted to be romantic comedy drama. Rajkummar Rao is breaking through his image of a serious actor and will be seen in a light-hearted role. The makers are hoping for a jump in the collections at the box-office with this shift in the release date.

Behen Hogi Teri is being jointly produced by Tony D'souza, Amul Vikas Mohan and Nitin Upadhyaya.
