While everyone is almost sure that after wrapping up his much-awaited biopic film on Sanjay Dutt with Ranbir Kapoor , filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani will start work on the third installment of his blockbuster film franchise, Munna Bhai M.B.B.S . Even superstar Sanjay Dutt had confirmed in one of his recent interviews that as soon as Hirani finishes his biopic, he will sit down to write Munna Bhai 3. He wished the film starts soon. However, some insiders believe that the filmmaker might keep the Munna Bhai sequel on hold for some time more and write a sequel to 3 Idiots or PK .

3 Idiots and PK , both featuring Aamir Khan , have been two most successful films of Indian cinema. The news of a sequel to any of them can surely excite millions of film enthusiasts. But no one can deny the fact that Munna Bhai series is nowhere less than 3 Idiots and PK in terms of popularity. Ever since Sanjay Dutt came out of jail, speculations around its next installment have surfaced over and again, but there has been no official confirmation of the same.

We are sure that whatever film Rajkumar Hirani picks up as his next, it will be lapped up by the audience with the same amount of excitement.

Meanwhile, his Sanjay Dutt biopic is scheduled to release on 30th March 2018.
