Rajkumar Hirani and team complete the Cape Town schedule of ‘Dutt’ biopic!

Ranbir Kapoor is busy shooting his career’s biggest film. Helmed by Rajkumar Hirani, Sanjay Dutt biopic is being touted as a game changer for the actor. The movie will trace the life and times of Sanju Baba and will highlight his high as well as low points of his controversial life. The film is tentatively titled ‘Dutt’. The cast and crew of the film are now in Cape Town, South Africa for the second schedule. After the domestic shoots, the team now seems to have completed their outdoor shooting parts as well. Hirani with Ranbir can be seen with the entire crew after completing the second schedule in a picture shared by an anonymous.

In an interview with a leading portal, Ranbir shared his views about the film and had said, “Sanju sir has been closely attached to the film. He has come on set and has been amazingly supportive. It used to be surreal for me because I am acting like him. He used to sit in front of the monitor and see some scenes and be so happy. Getting a physical look right is easy. To get somebody’s soul right, the human being right- that’s the hard part. I hope I’ve done a good job.'' Ranbir also added, “I’m grateful for this film and am working hard on it. I hope that people understand this man’s life, his soul through my work."

Apart from Ranbir, the movie also stars Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Dia Mirza, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Vicky Kaushal and Karishma Tanna in pivotal roles and is slated to release next year.
