    Rajkumar Gupta's 'Aamir' , now in Tamil

    Veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta who is currently promoting his upcoming movie 'Ghanchakkar' is delighted as his other flick 'Aamir' will be soon remade in Tamil.

    TV star Rajeev Khandelwal 's Bollywood debut movie ' Aamir ' which was well received by the audience in 2008, is all set to be remade in Tamil. The original flick was directed by veteran filmmaker Rajkumar Gupta . ' Aamir 's Tamil version is directed by debutante young director Anand Krishna. ' Aamir ' got a good response from the critics as well as the audience when it was released in 2008.

    As per the reports, the lead role will be essayed by famous south Indian actor Vidarth. Rajkumar Gupta is currently busy in promoting his upcoming romantic entertainer ' Ghanchakkar ' starring Vidya Balan and Emraan Hashmi . ' Aamir ' was Gupta's directorial debut. The producer of this movie Siddharth Roy Kapur expressed that the team is very excited that their first UTV release in collaboration with Rajkumar Gupta and Amit Trivedi is in the process of remake.
