    Rajesh Khanna's statue to be unleashed in Mumbai

    July 18, 2013, the first death anniversary of the legendary star Rajesh Khanna will see his statue unveiling in Mumbai at the hands of his family members.

    After ruling over the Bollywood industry for around five decades, super star Rajesh Khanna breathed his last on July 18, 2012. And as the reports say, today, on his first death anniversary, a tribute will be presented to this legendary star by unveiling his statue in Mumbai.

    As per the announcement of UTV Stars, this veteran actor will be enlivened in the form of a statue at the Walk of Stars, at Bandra Bandstand, Mumbai. The channel also declared that one of the exclusive poses of the versatile Rajesh Khanna will be a source of inspiration for this statue. One of the Khanna family members would be seen unleashing the statue. The statue of 'kaka' will be placed among the other eternal personas like Dev Anand , Raj Kapoor and Yash Chopra .

    Rajesh Khanna was the ultimate king of romance of his time, equipped with unparalleled acting skills. His list of evergreen movies include ' Anand ', ' Namak Haram ', ' Aradhana ' and to mention a few.
